Innecto
A downloadable game
Research shows that too much sugar rots your mind as well as your teeth, making it hard to concentrate. Put the Candy to one side and give your brain a real workout with Innecto.
Innecto seems so easy and relaxing; the little tiles twist satisfyingly into place as you race against the clock to complete each board in the least time with the least number of moves. The difficulty ramps up though - and you'll need all your skill to get to the end.
There are more than 100 levels and each one is calculated by the computer so no two games will be the same - giving Innecto great replay value.
I originally released Innecto for iPhone and iPad before porting it to the Mac. But then I kept going and ported it to the original Mac - and it's this version, for 68k Macintosh (tested on a 68000 powered Mac 512 with System 2.1 through to a 68040 Mac with MacOS 8.1) which is available here and for free.

Install instructions
To play Innecto for vintage Macintosh you will need a Mac. It's been tested on System 2.1 through to MacOS 8.1 - but it should be equally happy on newer MacOS (including the Classic environment), and newer CPUs than the 68000 through to 68040 CPU that it was developed for.
It requires less than 128K to run, so it might even run on the very first Mac - and if you get it working on the first ever Mac then I'd love to hear from you.
You will need Stuffit Expander to open the archive.
